Vocal Motion Six in concert in the chapel of Friedensau

The Namibian ensemble Vocal Motion Six (VMSIX) gave a concert in the chapel of Friedensau on November 16, 2019. The title of the concert was “VMSIX presents the journey to Christmas”. The repertoire of the young singers Peter and Mark M. Chizyuka, Jones and Vasco M. Mario as well as Paulo N. Correia included African folk, gospel and jazz music. The ensemble sang in English, Afrikaans, and other Namibian local languages. They have been touring around since 1999 and have received numerous national and international awards for their performances. Their concert tours have taken them throughout Europe, Asia, and America. Friedensau was the first stop of their concert tour throughout Germany, with Bremen and many other German cities to follow.
