‘The Short Bible School’ from 28 May to 1 June 2025

Friedensau Adventist University (FAU) is organising a ‘Short Bible School’ from 28 May to 1 June 2025. The topic is outlined as "Love versus fear. How the biblical God responds to your fears". The event will be led by Dr Bojan Godina, lecturer in the School of Theology at the Friedensau Adventist University; other speakers include Katy Godina and students.

People's fears in Germany have increased significantly in recent years. Whether it is the fear of losing prosperity, fear of war, climate change, school stress, the worry of not being able to start a family or emotional and family stress. People's fears are currently developing into an epochal problem in our society. Neither politics nor science can offer us a real perspective. The latest findings show that even psychotherapists are overwhelmed by the problem of war and climate-related fears about the future, as they themselves suffer from these phenomena. This is precisely the value of the great gospel message of God's love.

Bojan Godina: "We want to take a closer look at this Good News in the Short Bible School. Using the tried-and-tested Short Bible School method, we will systematically examine the concerns and problem areas and discover the practical impact of the Bible's teachings. No previous knowledge is necessary to participate in the Short Bible School. Come along yourself and bring friends and acquaintances so that they too can find courage, hope, orientation and practical help for their lives. The Short Bible School is structured evangelistically."

Who are the speakers?

Dr phil. Bojan Godina, studied theology, general psychotherapy, social behavioural sciences (M.A.), doctorate in media psychology. Lecturer in psychology, pastoral care, media education and practical theology at the Friedensau Adventist University and at Seminar Schloss Bogenhofen; autonomy trainer and supervisor.

Katy Godina, studied theology, history, German and psychology; counselling psychologist (M.Sc.). She runs a psychological counselling practice together with her husband Bojan Godina.
