Media return system inaugurated

Starting April 29, 2021, readers of the Friedensau Library will be able to return their borrowed books and digital media outside of opening hours. A new media return system makes it possible. The return box, located next to the main entrance, was formally inaugurated today by Rector Prof. Fischer and Library Director Raul Cervantes. The return box has two compartments; a smaller compartment on the left for CDs and DVDs; the larger compartment on the right for books. Board games cannot be dropped in, but will return to the circulation collection via personal drop-off during library hours. Loans can only be made by pre-order. The return is now possible contact-free and independent of time.
