»Interdependecies, caring, and commoning«
10. Aug. 2021
In the textual contribution, author Dr. Jill Blau examines commoning and practices of care from a feminist perspective that focuses on the interdependencies of different spheres of life and social categories of difference. Using examples from two case studies of pastoralists as commonsers (the Nyangatom in Ethiopia and the Rechtler/innen in Germany), she draws connections between everyday life that are inseparable when it comes to sustaining life and commons, while highlighting conceptual challenges for feminist commons analysis.
