14. Jan. 2024
On Sabbath, January 27, 2024, lecturers and some students from Friedensau Adventist University will visit nine different Adventist churches in Frankfurt and the surrounding area. It is a welcome opportunity for the Friedensauers to get to know the congregations and to introduce themselves as the lecturers at the Friedensau Adventist University. The Lecturers will preach in the following congregations: Frankfurt-Zentrum, Frankfurt-Unterliederbach, Hanau, International Adventist Community Langen (English-speaking), Mühlheim, Oberursel, Bad Homburg, Friedberg and Dreieichenhain (South Slavic community). The service starts at 10 a.m. in each case, except in Dreieichenhain at 9.30 a.m.
In the afternoon, at 2.30 pm, there will be a small reception with a cake buffet and drinks in Frankfurt-Zentrum, Eschenheimer Anlage 32, followed at 3 pm by an afternoon program under the motto "The Psalms". All interested parties are cordially invited.
Friedensau was founded in 1899 and will celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2024. Founded in 1899 as a missionary and industrial school, Friedensau Adventist University today continues the tradition as an Adventist educational institution as a state-recognized university under the auspices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Ten B.A. and M.A. degree courses can be taken in the Schools of Social Sciences and Theology – some of which are part-time, online or part-time: https://www.thh-friedensau.de. Prospective students can register for taster days and get to know life in the lecture hall and on campus.
