Farewell to student employees of the library
15. Jun. 2021
Library Director Raul Cervantes and his counter team said goodbye to long-time student employee Sarah Quinger at a breakfast together in the university cafeteria. She will soon be graduating with a degree in social work from Friedensau Adventist University and thus will no longer be able to support the counter team. After her year of apprenticeship, Sarah is planning a longer stay abroad. We wish her all the best for this!
In addition to presenting her with a small gift, the team shared many fond memories with each other at the farewell breakfast.
Sarah looks back on a good time at the library. What she liked most about her job was the structured and professional work, the encounters with the library's visitors and, of course, the team meetings, which she associates with many nice and, above all, funny moments. As a student employee, she could not have imagined a better place to work in Friedensau.
One thing is certain: Sarah will definitely miss working in the library. For her, "it was harder than she thought to quit" because she enjoyed her work so much. Her team will have fond memories of Sarah and her friendly and reliable manner!
At the end of the academic year, Sarah's colleague Andreas Schneider will also finish his work as a student assistant in the library's counter service. We also wish him all the best and much success with his final exams and submissions.
