From 14 to 22 May 2022, the international students of Friedensau Adventist University invited to a Week of Cultures. Several events were planned to promote togetherness and mutual understanding "according to Corona". The opening event on Saturday evening, 14 May, 7.00 p.m., at the Friedensau campsite marked the start. On Sunday, 15 May, a display of exotic plants was shown in the greenhouses (near the Ihle geodesic domes). In the afternoon, from 2.00 p.m. onwards, the guests were expected to have fun and games on the lawn at the guest house - and football was played! From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., teams competed against each other in a tournament on the football pitch at the Ihle. Noémie Agbossassa (M.A.) gave a talk on an explosive topic in the chapel on 16 May. It was entitled: "We are affected by it and it hurts". Racism and the lives of Friedensau students. Noémie Agbossassa is a graduate of the International Social Sciences programme and will speak on the topic of her Master's thesis (in English; a translation will be provided). On Friday evening, 20 May, the traditional Shabbat Shalom was held in the Aula (Wilhelm-Michael-Haus), which was organised by students with an international worship evening with songs, texts and a devotional part. On Saturday, 21 May, 10.00 a.m. a service in English (with translation) took place in the Arena Friedensau (Waldring 10). On Saturday evening, 7.00 p.m., there was an evening of fun and games at the Student Centre (StuZ). The event was concluded on Sunday, 22 May, from 3.00 p.m., in the Arena with a "Festival of Cultures" with a themed programme by the students.
