Corona pandemic – bridging aid for students in emergency situations

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Deutsches Studentenwerk (DSW) announce that the grant for students in acute need can be applied for from 16 June 2020.
The Studentenwerk Magdeburg is responsible for processing the applications of students who are enrolled at the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg, the University of Applied Sciences Magdeburg-Stendal, the University of Applied Sciences Harz and the Theological University of Friedensau and who are not on leave of absence. Students who are in particularly acute need and directly dependent on help as a result of the Corona pandemic can apply for bridging aid in the form of a non-repayable grant. From 25 June 2020, the processing of applications and payment will start.
