Memorandum signed

Friedensau Adventist University (FAU) concluded a cooperation agreement with the Institute of Social Work (ISW) in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) on September 27, 2023. From the Tanzanian side, Dr. Joyce Elzear Nyoni, Rector of the Institute of Social Work signed the Memorandum of Understanding in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ulrike Schultz, Vice Dean and Head of Master Program Studies for Development Studies at the School of Social Sciences of the FAU. The Rector of Friedensau Adventist University, Prof. Dr. Roland Fischer, had already signed the document in Friedensau (Germany). In the agreement, both universities announce their intention to cooperate closely in the future in the fields of research, student exchange and curricula development. This will support the international education of students. This memorandum is of particular importance for the new English-language bachelor's degree program at the FAU "International Social Work". Students in this program, which will be offered at FAU starting in the winter semester of 2024, will be able to spend a semester abroad in Dar es Salaam.
