Student Center
The StuZ is the student center at Friedensau Adventist University (FAU). The facility in the Erich Meyer Building invites you to feel comfortable and to relax, talk, and have a cozy get-together. During the lecture weeks, students meet twice a week at 8 pm, on Wednesday and Saturday, to socialize. The friendly StuZ-team, consisting of FAU students, will give you a warm welcome and serve you drinks and food.
On the menu are various kinds of pizza, baguettes, chips, and deserts. To "wash it down" there are soft drinks, such as Coke and Fanta, as well as malt beer and non-alcoholic beer, milkshakes and teas. The drinks are all offered in returnable glass bottles for environmental reasons. The StuZ aims to put together a nice menu with sustainable and regional products. Another popular item on the menu—and this not only in summer—are our ice cream sundaes, which may be designed according to your wishes (flavors and toppings).
Some students come exclusively to play games. In addition to various board games, there is also billiards and table soccer. Students of all nationalities spend time in the student center, which therefore is an ideal place for intercultural dialog.
If you ask the students what spontaneously comes to there mind when thinking about the StuZ, "community" is what you will hear. The informal atmosphere makes it easy to get to know people, exchange ideas about current topics, make new friends or meet old friends again.
Every first Saturday of the month, Friedensau University Church is having potluck in the StuZ. It is also a popular meeting place for study groups, birthday parties, and other occasions. Please make a reservation for private purposes or large-scale events and send an email to:
