The following accommodation options are available to students within the limits of the available capacity:
I. Rental charges for rooms in the student residence
For the summer break (July to September), students may apply for a suspension of the rent with the management of the student residence. During the suspension, no rent is incurred.

II. Apartments for married couples and families
On campus, there are apartments of various sizes and with different furniture available for married couples and families. The rents for the apartments are €230.00 to 590.00 per month, including ancillary costs. The apartments are equipped with a limited access telephone, Internet access (LAN), and TV connection, the charges for which are included in the ancillary costs.
III. Rooms in shared flats
On campus, there is a men's house with two double rooms and a women's house with two double rooms and one single room. The rent is subsidised by Förderverein Freundeskreis Friedensau International e.V. The subsidy is primarily awarded to international students. There is a waiting list for these rooms.

IV. Security deposit for accommodation
At the start of the tenancy, a security deposit must be provided, which will be returned at the end of the tenancy.

VI. TV and radio licence fee
The licence fee for public broadcasting must be paid per accommodation unit (room/apartment/flat). An exemption may apply if there are only students who receive BAföG grants living in the accommodation unit.
