The "Chronicle" of Friedensau will be published – and can now be pre-ordered

The village of Friedensau in Jerichower Land has only existed for 125 years. Not a long time for a place. Building on the older documents, Friedensau church historian Dr. Johannes Hartlapp wrote a new, far more comprehensive chronicle of Friedensau, which took him many months to complete. Pictures and documents had to be collected from various archives throughout Germany, assigned, researched and analyzed. This has now been completed – although the work of a historian never ends ... The book designer is currently demonstrating her skills and is working flat out on the reader-friendly design of the texts and images. Since the spring, a photographer has been collecting current images of places and landscapes to supplement the historical documents. Now Dr. Johannes Hartlapp and his team are putting the finishing touches to the content and design – the printing press is waiting ... Just as the interested readers are waiting for the finished book "125 years of Friedensau. A Chronicle". The lovingly designed and high-quality book is due to be published in spring 2025 and will also be available from bookshops. Divided into decades, it will provide deep insights into the historical context and focus on the events of the first hundred years.

The Friedensau Chronicle can be pre-ordered for a limited period until the end of January 2025 with a 10% discount. After that, the regular retail price will be charged. The technical data
