Online info day for the B.A. Social Work
01. Jul. 2021
On June 30, the Friedensau Adventist University (FAU) hosted the last date for the online info day for the B.A. Social Work program. Teachers and graduates of the social work program offered to share their experiences in an online video conference and briefly explain key aspects of the program, such as: Is social work for me? Where and how do social workers work? What exactly do you learn during your studies? How is the social work program at Friedensau structured?
Those who study social work learn more about how our society functions, in what contexts people's actions are to be understood and what effective help looks like. Working in social work means advising, supporting, motivating, organizing, managing, leading; all this with and for people in different phases of life. People who have skills that no high school diploma reflects are particularly suited to this work. It takes creativity and empathy in addition to factual knowledge. Anyone with the best or even the non-best A-levels is welcome! There is no numerus clausus (NC) for the B.A. Social Work program at FAU.
A next online info day, then on the Counseling Master's program, will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021, 5:00 pm. After registration, the zoom link will be sent: thh-friedensau.de/infotage/
